My intention as a Yoga instructor is to create a safe and welcoming environment for students so you can get the most out of your practice. As a Yoga Alliance Certified Instructor, I'm dedicated to serving you -- nurturing your mind & body and prolonging its longevity through a practice that has helped so many through the years. Whether you want to find clarity, relieve stress, or increase strength & flexibility, I'm here to help guide you towards better overall health & well-being.

Additionally, I place a heavy emphasis on healthy alignment and awareness of the body. Yoga meets you where you're at, so I will work with you to modify each pose to fit your body as it is, avoiding injury.

I work with all levels + body types, ranging from beginners to advance. I've trained students with limited mobility and injuries, as well as dancers and gymnasts.

I have an M.A. in Yoga Studies from Loyola Marymount University and I am 500 hour certified. I am certified in Yoga Therapy Rx, Vinyasa Flow, and Kids Yoga. I have also done trauma-sensitive training with James Fox from the Prison Yoga Project as well as Dr. Dan Libby from the Veteran's Yoga Project.

My class will be structured to meet you where your skill levels are. The initial session will allow me to learn more about where you are in your overall body and practice. I will tailor the class to fit your goals, any injuries you may be nursing, and your areas of interest, whether it's physical or spiritual. Classes will unfold in a layering method, because just like a home, you must lay a stable foundation before you can build the walls. For example, if you are a new student, the sessions will begin with basic introduction to poses and breaking down of the proper alignment. If you are a practicing student, we will work with more intricate and complex poses and breath work, building towards a deeper practice.

I highly recommend Trang. She customizes each pose to be the correct positioning for your body type instead of having you move out of sync with where your body will go. The sessions helped me to be more aware of my advantages and limitations in my yoga practice. I have been doing yoga for many years, and Trang helped me work on some of my challenging poses to improve my alignment. And she would also be a wonderful asset to someone just learning yoga.
