I loved hitting. Hitting was a passion. I would spend hours in the cage perfecting the swing. Your player will benefit from my 40+ years of experience playing and coaching. View all coaching experience

More About Coach Tony
I have coached all the way from Little League to high school. Most recently, I coached an 13U All Star team helping them become one of the final four teams in a state tournament. I'd prefer coaching 11-14 year old as this is the age where these young men really can grasp the game mentally and physically?
I played collegiate baseball at UCSD. I batted over 360 and started as designated hitter. After college, I had offers to play overseas but elected to begin my career in finance. Having been in the corporate world for about 30 years, I understand how important communication is as well as professionalism.
First, we need to establish the goals. Are we here just to have fun and hit (individual sessions) or are we trying to come up with a plan to work on the swing (minimum of 10 plans)? I believe in driving the ball, hitting line drives. No launch angle or exit velocity. Hitting line drives up the middle with backspin. In order to do so, you're hands have to be at the right spots at contact. I focus on impact and staying balanced.
