I am a USA Triathlon certified coach based in the north Dallas area working for a coaching company and triathlon club - Sport Speed Lab. I coach age group athletes in all distances of triathlon from sprint distance to Ironman distance. I have been coaching triathletes and runners since 2008. I have successfully coached beginner triathletes to their first triathlon; more experienced triathletes to their first Ironman triathlon and have successfully coached triathletes to qualification for triathlon world championships.

I have coached runners to their first 5k; to their first marathon; and I have coached Boston qualifiers and sub 3 hour marathoners.

I am a data driven coach. I use all available technology to inform my decisions about my athletes training plans - Garmin data, heart rate data, power meter data, and metabolic testing data (blood lactate and VO2 tests). I find a bike power meter especially useful for cycling training and improving cycling performance.

I have been cycling all of my life - bike rallies, club races, etc. In 2004 I 'discovered' triathlon. I fell in love with the sport of triathlon so much that I became a coach. I have raced all distances from sprint to Ironman. During this time I have competed in about 100 triathlons. In 2009, I qualified for the Ironman 70.3 World Championship race which was held in Clearwater, FL.

I scheduled a VO2 Max and Lactic Acid test with Coach Tommy. He was professional and his equipment was top notch. Afterwards, instead of just emailing me the results he followed up with a phone call to explain the data and how I can apply it to my training. After the experience I was a better informed athlete and feel more informed about my training.

My son Raghav had a great coaching session with Coach Tommy this morning. We were very impressed with his skills and coaching style. Coach observed his running style and form, gave a lot of good feedback for improvement and worked with him to make him implement them. Overall very inspiring coach.

Tommy was great! Helped me focus in on aspects of my swim stroke that made immediate improvements. I will be booking a series with him to continue to improve over the winter and be ready for tri season 2020.

I met with Coach Tommy this past Friday for the first time and did not know what to expect, being that I have not had a personal trainer/ coach since college. For my first session, Coach Tommy assessed my running and pointed out some things in my form that I was not aware of. He used video to capture my running form from several angles, which helps when he is explaining the problems and the way to correct them. He also ran with me to evaluate my breathing. After the assessment he created a workout plan to help me reach my personal goal. I Definitely recommend Coach Tommy to anyone who is wanting to take their running to the next level. He is very professional and personable. He also responds quickly. When he gives you a work out plan it's tailored to your unique running ability which is great!!

Coach Tommy did an awesome job with my 16 year old son, Jonathan, in preparing him for cross country running. In addition, Tommy sent us a written plan for improving endurance, so that Jonathan didn't have to commit it all to memory. Tommy's teaching style is subtle. You think that you're just running a few drills and before you know it, the sweat is pouring. He films you running which was really helpful for analyzing. His style is relaxed and technical. I recommend him for anyone looking to improve technique.
