More About Coach Tom

From 2008 to 2012 I coached I-9 Flag Football. Then in 2013 I Coached at Viera Middle School until 2015. Also Coached one year of NFL Flag in 2016. For the last four years I have been Coaching in Quarterback specific mechanic training, which started in 2015. I work with all ages, but it is best to start mechanic training young as "muscle memory" should be done correct. NFHS Concussion In Sports Certification.

I have played Football all through my youth but did not compete in college. I started coaching because I loved the game and also wanted to help the kids develope thier skills.

This is Quarterback specific training. A session will start with warm up drills including, stretching and a quick jog. We will then go into mechanic drills such as quick elbow, wrist snap, extension, separation, closing the shoulder, foot placement and stride, hip rotation, getting to "zero" and balance. Then move into footwork and throwing to show how to self correct after a quick evaluation on what needs improvement. If the athlete prefers visual coaching through video, then we will take video to show where to work. and how to fix.
