I have been in several aspects of the dance world from choreographing and coaching nationally ranked youth and high school teams, to industry dancing including Randy Jackson Presents: America's Best Dance Crew Season 2 with Fanny Pak. From 2004-2008 I was a songleading instructor for the United Spirit Association teaching 4 day camps to high school and middle school students. Most recently I have worked as a Dance Tour Manager, Spirit Program Director, Varsity Cheer Coach, and a Motion Capture Performer. On top of performing, coaching, and creating dance I received my Bachelors Of Science in Kinesiology with an Emphasis in Dance at California State University, Northridge. My training consist of modern, jazz, hip hop, jazz funk, ballet, lyrical, character dance, and song-leading which I use for the basis of my coaching. I am in the process of becoming a physical therapist and a dance/movement therapist to open a non profit dance and movement injury prevention/rehabilitation center for dancers, performers, and athletes.

People are generally happier when they are up and moving so my goal is for each client to obtain their goal and leave each session feeling great about themselves with a smile on their face!

There are 4 dance sessions that I offer for ages 10 and older :
1) choreography based
In a choreography based class a routine can be taught/ created or a routine of your own that you would like to work on such as a competition routine, try out routine, upcoming performance, etc.

2) dance conditioning
Dance conditioning focuses on strength and endurance such as a bar warm up, muscle toning, stretching, therapeutic stretching, and motion technique that will benefit a dancers body in preventing injury or obtaining/ maintaining a dancers body.

3) dance aerobics
Dance aerobics is cardio based using a variety of high energy dance movement for a great aerobic workout.Each session begins with a warm up that caters to the session.

4) everything dance
An everything dance session is a combination of the other sessions and/or creative movement exploration and improvisation.

The initial session begins with a plan of action to obtain your dance goal. A program is then created that best suits each individual with a chart to document progress. One session may have up to 5 people.
