More About Coach Terry

I have been involved in the fitness industry for over 30 years and been involved with motocross for over 35 years. I have worked in clubs, owned clubs and have developed my own personal training and nutrition systems specifically for motocross. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education with a minor in Business from W.S.U. I have been an instructor for the ESA and WITS certification programs and have been the director of the personal training program at Ashmead College Northgate. I also carry certifications in the ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine), NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine), Exercise Science Alliance (ESA), World Instructor Training Schools (WITS), and the NSCA-CSCS (National Strength Coaches Association). I have done an internship with the strength coaches at the University of Washington and have worked with athletes in most traditional sports as well as extreme sports.

I have been involved in motocross for over 35 years and currently compete in the 40+ and 30+ A divisions in the NorthWest. I have worked with numerous local professional racers with fitness and conditioning for various disciplines including motocross, supercross, off-road racing, and endurocross. I also work with a few MX Schools in the area.

Each program is completely individualized but our first session is a fitness evaluation which includes a complete health history, goal setting, body composition testing as well as test for strength, endurance, cardiovascular conditioning, and flexibility, and determining any specific skills that may need to be addressed. We can do this via email, phone, and/or video training via a webcam.

With this information a complete training program is developed along with periodic assessments to ensure progress.

The program is designed for each individuals goals and time frame. Appointments are scheduled based on each individuals needs.
