More About Coach Tateki

I am an UFC fighter and dedicated in Martial Arts(Muay Thai, Jiujitsu, Boxing, Wrestling) for 10 years and have been a pro competitor experience since 2008.

I also have international experience in competing in Japan, Thailand, and Brazil and would love to share my skills and experience with my all clients.

My degree is B.S in Sport Movement Science at Salem State University and M,S in Applied Nutrition for Fitness at Northeastern University.

A typical session with me is an hour session and basically whatever a client wants to work on. For example, getting in shape, self-defense, having fun, and getting ready for competition.

I modify training menu depending on clients and never put them in a small box. My coaching style is "guiding" If they want 10 rounds of pad work, I would love to do that. If they want me to plan for losing weight program, I would love to help them with martial arts workout and academic knowledge.

There is generally no better way to learn than to get one-on-one attention from an experienced instructor. With private lessons, I can spot problems areas and develop plans to improve, give specific advice tailored to the individual client or athlete, and also work on game plans in relation to the athlete's goals.

Typical session examples)
Muay thai> Pre-warm up, Jump rope, shadow boxing, few rounds of heavy bag work(hitting with correct form), movement drills(agility and muscle memories), 1 on 1 pad work(situation and strategies).

Grappling> Pre-warm up, Mat exercise(flexibility and basic strength), Jiu-Jitsu drills(muscle memories and basic skills), submission/position training, situational training(actual ground work, such as jiu-jitsu and wresling).

Strength & Conditioning> Pre warm up, dynamic stretching, functional skills(balance, SAQ training, jump), strength work out(weight lifting, kettle bells, TRX), martial arts circuit(cardio boxing, hitting), cool down.

1 on 1 session can vary in individuals, so basically I will work for anything client wants.
