More About Coach Tabatha

I am a Strength & Conditioning Coach at Magnus Sports Performance and a NASM Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) and Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES). I work with athletes of all ages and skill levels, from youth athletes learning fundamental movement skills to high school competitors looking to improve strength, speed, power, and confidence. My coaching experience includes strength and conditioning, personal training, youth sports development, and serving as Head Coach of a Bergen County girls flag football program. I also worked as a Physical Therapist Aide at Ivy Rehab and completed a personal training internship at DreamFitness, giving me a strong foundation in movement quality, injury prevention, and long-term athletic development. My coaching philosophy combines exercise science, mental performance, and individualized programming to help every athlete reach their potential.

My athletic background includes playing basketball, tennis, kickboxing, and a variety of recreational sports, giving me experience in both team and individual athletics. I have also dedicated years to strength training, developing a strong foundation in resistance training, movement mechanics, and overall athletic performance. These experiences sparked my passion for fitness, coaching, and helping others improve their strength, confidence, and performance. Today, I combine my athletic background with my NASM-CPT and Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES) certifications to help athletes move better, perform at their best, and enjoy the process of getting stronger.

Every session begins with a dynamic warm-up focused on mobility, movement quality, and injury prevention. From there, athletes move into sport-specific speed, agility, and coordination drills designed to improve athletic performance. Strength and power training are tailored to the athlete's age, experience level, and goals, with a strong emphasis on proper technique and long-term development. Throughout the session, I coach not only physical skills but also mental performance skills such as focus, confidence, effort, and resilience. Athletes can expect high energy, positive coaching, individualized instruction, and clear feedback. My goal is for every athlete to leave stronger, more confident, and better prepared to perform when it matters most.
