I was introduced to the sport of track and field as a sophomore in high school. I loved it instantly. I was a sprinter/jumper and graduated with school records in the 200, 300, 400, 600, 800, indoor/outdoor high jump , triple jump and as a member of several relays. I also ran cross country. I took a break from running, but when I returned I achieved the goal of coaching myself and running a 5:42 mile at the age of 38, which qualified me for All American status for my age group. I continue to compete in road races and track events, including the steeple chase and 400 hurdles. As a coach, I led my current high school boys team to an undefeated season in only my second season with them. The previous year we finished at the bottom of the league. I have led athletes to state championships and school records. I was awarded the MSTCA coach of the year in 2015. Athletes I've coached have competed at local, state and national levels and have gone on to collegiate successes also. If you would like more information about these performances, you can message me directly.
Athletes will be assessed for their goals as well as their current level of fitness and skill before a plan is drawn up, so there is no 'typical' session. Focus for any particular phase or session will be dependent upon these factors. Mobility, strength, overall fitness as it pertains to the event, and skill will all be addressed to various degrees during different parts of the training year.

Suzanne had immediate impact on my daughter's form and her enthusiasm for the sport. That improvement and engagement has continued through subsequent sessions working on hurdles and high-jump. We highly recommend Susanne!
Todd (CoachUp client)
Very knowledgeable. Great teacher of technique and the importance of stretching.
Sarah (CoachUp client)
Suzanne is a fantastic coach! She is knowledgeable, patient, understanding, flexible, caring.....we could go on. My daughter had never done any track and field events. Suzanne started with the basics and progressed to more difficult things every week. My daughter loved working with her and wished she was her high school coach. Currently we have no sessions planned as track and field is in season, but we would absolutely continue with Suzanne off season and would highly recommend her.
Ilona (CoachUp client)
My daughter really liked Coach Suzanne and is looking forward to working with her in the future for more training. She was very knowledgeable.

Neil Maskalenko, Cmass/WMass State Champion, 2014, high jump (meet record 6'4") (Testimonial)
A few words to describe Suzanne Williams coaching style is, dedicated, caring, flexible, passionate, understanding and achieving. Coach Williams successfully increased my High Jumping abilities from 5'4 to 6'4, in just one season. Coach has proven time and time again her coaching style works, and works fast. Coach Williams is always expanding her knowledge for the sport and taking classes to improve her coaching abilities. I would recommend her to anyone who is serious about improving their track and field skills and wants to see results. Suzanne is more than a coach who will leave you with life lessons such as never giving up, and always giving everything your all. She is the best coach I have ever had and if you want to accel, you will have her coach you.
