I have experience with teaching swim on all levels from beginning to advanced including swim team. I have worked at three different places doing this. Public setting and private lessons. I have worked with age groups from 2 years old to 18 years old. I have lifeguard training, CPR, and first aid.

Aquatic Heat. I swam for 3 years. Learned a great deal in the competition world of swimming and that it can be fun but challenging. I competed locally.

Depends on where we are starting with their level of knowledge will determine that during the first session. That will begin with seeing what they can and cannot do. Seeing if they have learned any bad habits what are their strengths and weakness. After that the continuing sessions will start on their weakness and then end with the strengh. I will teach them good habits, see what goals they want to accomplish and achieve. I typical session with someone that needs to improve the form would be doing the form in and out of water. Building the muscle memory and then have them go through the swim slow to fast and then back to slow so they can see how their body moves with each motion. Always moving from weakness into strengh so by the end of lesson they feel good about their abilities. Instead of feeling defeated.
