More About Coach Steven
I currently coach on the Division 1 level at Norfolk State University. Outside of that I have trained more then 20 professional athletes including 4 NBA Players Khyri Thomas , Garret Temple, Kyle O Quinn, Keyontae Johnson. I train kids from 6 years old to professional athletes and everything in between.
I Scored 1200 Points at the Division 1 Level. 2nd All time in Assist at Norfolk State University, Most Double - Doubles by a guard in D1 History at Norfolk State, 5th all time in Steals at Norfolk State . Two Time All Conference player.
Fundamentals , explanation, details, patience and confidence in your ability are the biggest factors that I bring to the table with training. I like to explain how to develop instead of putting you through cone drills and you get skillfully better but not mentally so you don’t know how to use it in the game, I think that’s what’s separates me from a lot of other trainers and I listen to you as well. Open dialogue is big for me .
