This is a reality-based, self-defense martial art -- not a sport-type or art form designed only for tournaments and competitions. It includes striking, using a variety of powerful punches and kicks, blocking, fighting combinations and defense drills; clinch-work, involving strikes with elbows and knees, throws and takedowns; defense and negation of common grabs, holds, chokes, tackles and bearhugs; and the fundamentals of defensive and offensive work from vulnerable ground positions and submission grappling.

I offer programs and classes tailored to meet the needs of my students. I specialize in one-on-one training, designed to give you an intense, personalized education in how to handle yourself in any kind of self-defense or fighting situation. If you want to gain a thorough knowledge of the fundamentals of hand-to hand combat arts or increase your sense of confidence before engaging others in a group or even a competitive situation, this is for you!
