While I specialize in goalkeeping, I have coached soccer players of all positions. I have conducted private soccer training sessions since June 2014 with both youth and collegiate athletes, as well as coached at the high school level in a variety of positions at two different schools:
Goalkeeper Coach, Mount Si High School, 2015-2016
Head Coach, Mount Si High School, 2017-2021
Goalkeeper Coach, Redmond High School, 2022-2023

During my college years I earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science and minors in Coaching and Sport and Exercise Psychology from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington. While at PLU, I took many courses and completed coaching-related practicums, including a practicum at Washington Premier FC in Puyallup, WA, that allowed to hone my coaching abilities from a research and science based aspect rather than just mirroring the ways in which I was coached.

I strive to continuously educate myself in terms of soccer education, fitness and agility, sport psychology and mental skills, etc. so I can provide my athletes with the highest level of coaching, the level that they deserve. It is crucial to me that my athletes understand the "what, why, when, where, and how" of what they are doing, and my coaching style is geared towards that.

I have played soccer since I was five years old. I became a goalkeeper when I was 12, fell in love with the position, and never looked back. I was a Varsity starter in high school, as well as a two-year starter for Bellevue College. While at Bellevue College, I was an NWAACC Athletic Scholarship recipient for two years, and received the NWAACC All-Region honor during my first season.

A typical session with me will include a dynamic warm-up, agility/strength/conditioning work, technical work, tactical work and a cool-down, in that order. I look to gradually build and add elements as we move through the session in order to properly train the athlete's mind and body. As we progress through multiple sessions, I will evaluate the needs and "weak areas" of the athlete and tailor the upcoming sessions to accommodate those needs.
