More About Coach Shane
I have 20 plus years coaching and training in basketball. I have coached from rec ball, to AAU ball and I am currently a high school basketball coach. I played 4 years of High School basketball and 1 year junior college basketball. My passion for the game and working to make a player better is very gratifying.
I have won AAU championship and as the Head Freshman Coach Coach at Patrick Henry I won 2 tournament championships and 1 second place. My best athletic accomplishment was making varsity as a sophomore. I played 1 year of juco ball and then got into coaching. I have competted in high school, college and rec leagues as a player.
I break everything down, from your jump shot, mechanics and techniques so that we can maximize your jump shot and free-throws. Work on alot of ball handling with both hands so you have two dominant hands and can be more efficient. For big men, alot of footwork and knowing where and when to post and how to utilize your size to score in the paint. Also a lot of conditioning so your ready to play in crunch time. I want to maximize all your skills no matter what position you are.
