More About Coach Sabrina

I have a B.S. in Kinesiology with a minor in coaching from Texas A&M University. I have professionally coached at the Junior High and High School age level for Volleyball (head coach three years), Basketball and Track for five years in the Texas Pandhandle. I am also a licensed Athletic Trainer who volunteered along side my coaching/teaching career. During my student Athletic training years at Texas A&M I was mentored by the Athletic department's strength and conditioning coaches.
I have conducted camps for both volleyball and basketball for elementary aged students as well.

I was a three time regional qualifier in the 100 hurdles -two year qualifier in the 300 hurdles during high school (1999-2002). I was also competitive in the 800 relay, 200 m run, and triple jump. I was chosen for 3 consecutive years to the first team all-district basketball. I was invited to participate in a State Tournament in Austin, Texas as a Sophomore and was then chosen to play on the USA Nationals basketball team in 2000 representing Texas in a national tournament in Wisconsin. I now personally enjoy distance running, weight training, yoga and outdoor activities with my kids.

I believe in the whole body training concept. All athletes need a strong core strengthening routine. Athletes can expect to be challenged both physically and mentally during each session. Depending on athletes goals and current level you would expect drills for speed and agility, strength and conditioning, sport-specific drills and "game scenario" training as well as drills as pre-hab and injury prevention. Each session is specifically designed for the athlete to reach their goal and is custom made for the athlete each time.
