More About Coach Ryan
I have coached at the high school level since 2006. I have trained/worked with players ages ranging from 9-18. I have worked with ballplayers from Lake Charles, Lafayette, and Baton Rouge La. As well as Beaumont and Houston, Tx and North/Central Ms.
As a youth I competed in the South Regional, and Junior League World Series. 3x High School All-District. Attended University of Louisiana Lafayette. Member of the United League 2007 Winter League Champion Brownsville Toros (P/3B/1B). 6x All-AABL. I played all over the US.
First off warm up. Then we would begin the skill we are working on.....Pitching would be warming the clients arm, then we would do drills to work on ball placement, arm angle, release point. Hitting we would perform skills that would recognize strike zone and well as zone hitting. Fielding we would work on approach, catching, throwing. All skills would concentrate on body mechanics.
