I have been playing baseball my entire life, I have always played at the highest level of competition. I was recruited by McMurry University (Division 2) as an outfielder. However I decided to go to Ranger Junior College as a freshman to better develop my skill set. I am now at University of Houston-Victoria, I have been instructing for three years, and have helped turn several young players into superior athletes. When starting out with a new player, the first ten minutes or so I like to watch the player (pitching, hitting, posture, confidence) and find what it is that is keeping them from being all they can be. I will video the player during a session because I believe it is just as important for them to see their own swing as it is for me. By the time the player has finished his session I want him to be proud of what he has developed, and continue to work on it during time outside of sessions. In the end I want the player to be as successful as can be, while being relaxed and confident at the same time.
