More About Coach Ryan

Six (6) years experience working with high level athletes at the professional level in Player Development. One with the Milwaukee Brewers and five with the Pittsburgh Pirates, four of which was as head of a department that used technology to improve player skills. Currently a D1 pitching coach and pitching coach in the well-known Northwoods Collegiate League during summers. Formerly an assistant at a top JUCO in southern California.

I am Driveline Certified and Florida Baseball Ranch, which means I promote data-driven coaching while assessing how the athletes body works. I also have a Performance Enhancement Specialist certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine.

Competed at the D1 level at Eastern Illinois University, club baseball at Arizona State University. Advanced knowledge in weight training and conditioning.

All athletes will receive a movement assessment on their first visit. This takes about 1/2 hour of our time. From there, we will go over proper activation/warm-ups, arm care/recovery for when the session is ending, as well as throwing. Video analysis and Rapsodo data can be added on for an extra fee, too. Strength training programming is also an additional add-on.

My most important philosophy is getting an athlete to be an athlete. I do not want them to just be a "baseball player". I want them to be mobile, athletic, and in control.
