More About Coach Ryan
I provide 7 years of college coaching and playing experience. I specialize in football specific training and include speed development, agility training, injury prevention, and position specific drills. I have worked with athletes from the youth level through professional ranks. I have coached at the NCAA Division II,III and NAIA levels. Mentoring 8 all-conference selections, 1 all-american selection, and conference player of the year.
I was a two year letterman at Quincy University(DII) at Defensive Back. I was a one year starter at Safety and played all special teams. Conference player of week, ESPN radio player of game, honorable mention all conference.
Flexibility is the key to speed. Thus, we spend 15 minutes of dynamic flexibility to start off our sessions. Through increased hip mobility athletes will see results. Workouts will include:
- Football position specific drills and training segments
- Drills designed to translate into game time performance
- 40 yard dash technique ( stance, start, drive phase, top end speed)
- agility training drills, plyometric exercises
- foot quickness and reaction drills
- over speed training, resistance training
