Rudo Loock

As a USA Swimming certified coach with over three years of experience, I have honed my skills in teaching the technical elements of swimming strokes to children ranging in age from 5 to 18. Through hands-on demonstrations and personalized instruction, I have successfully instilled the fundamentals of proper technique, body positioning, and stroke mechanics in my students.

My passion for swimming and dedication to my pupils has resulted in a positive and encouraging learning environment, where students can build confidence in their abilities and achieve their goals. Whether working with beginner swimmers or advanced athletes, I am committed to helping my students reach their full potential and foster a lifelong love for the sport.

As an accomplished athlete, I am proud to have swam for four years at Florida State University, consistently demonstrating my proficiency in the sport. My dedication and hard work paid off, as I was able to qualify for the ACC Championships four times and once for the prestigious NCAA Championships (despite getting surgery done on my ankle).

These achievements reflect my commitment to excellence and my ability to perform at a high level under pressure. My experiences as a student-athlete have provided me with valuable skills and knowledge, such as teamwork, discipline, and the drive to succeed, which currently serves me well as a coach.

Overall, my time at FSU and my athletic accomplishments are a source of great pride and will always hold a special place in my memory.

I like to work on the person before the athlete. I will focus on the technical elements needed to swim each stroke efficiently. I will provide you with unique drills that you can use to improve your performance. When I work with an Athlete, I think about how each drill is going to help build your stroke and swimming technique to help you move fluently in the water with the least amount of effort.
