More About Coach Rod
I am certified personal trainer with the National Academy for Sports Medicine (NASM). I have spent the last 8 years playing professional football. The NFL, CFL, AFL. I have helped many youths over the years sharpen their skills, but now I am a full time coach/trainer.
I have spent the last 12 years playing college and professional football (4 collegiate, and 8 professional). I am a wide receiver and punt returner, and I played college football at Murray State University from 2005-2007. After that I went as an undrafted free agent to the Green Bay Packers, I have also played with the New Orleans Saints, and the Philadelphia Eagles in the National Football League. In the Arena Football League, I've been a member of the Spokane Shock, San Jose Sabercats, and New Orleans Voodoo. My greatest accomplishment as an athlete would have to be winning a Super Bowl Championship with the New Orleans Saints in the 2009-10 football season.
In a typical session with me, a client would expect to train like a pro and receive all the coaching points that a high caliber player in the NFL would get. Also included would be some workout routines straight out of an NFL training manual. My workouts are high intensity and high volume: Ladder drills, short shuttles, 300 yard shuttles, 110's (sprints), receiver routes, hill sprints, and sled pulls just to name a few. We will get after it both physically and mentally, as I want to prepare your mind to dominate at the high school, collegiate, and professional level.
