More About Coach Roddrick
I started training in basketball in the summer of 2014 after I got back from playing overseas once in Prague & once in Mexico. Now I am the skills coach of the same college I played @, in Southern Crescent Technical College.
I played @ Southern Crescent Technical College 2011-2012 after my freshman year I left and went on two basketball tours. Went to Prague Czech Republic in the summer of 2013. When I got back from Prague I began training some of my old teammates and local high school kids.The Winter of 2013 I went on another basketball tour in Mexico. In the 2016-2017 I coach JV at a high school in McDonough, Now in 2018 I'm the head skill development coach at the same college I've Played at and won the region and got to the semi-finals in nationals.
The fist session is a evaluation period to see where there strength&weakness are @. I will test them mentally & physically. Breaks will come few and far in between because I want to see where mental toughness come in where you have to focus when your tired. Contact will come in every drill to see if you can handle pressure when refs are letting you play. My session are hard, they will challenge you, but if you do what is easy your game will never change.
