More About Coach Rob
I am a certified USATF Level 2 Coach in Sprints, Hurdles and Relays. I've been a coach for over 30 years (track, football, softball and basketball) majority of which in Track and Field. I have coached track on many levels: individual training; small groups; clinics; camps; youth clubs; middle school; and high school. I am now the Head Track & Field Coach at Kentwood High School where I coached the Girls 2011 State Champions in my inaugural season. I am also the founder of Xtreme Speed Track Club (2010) where I coach sprints and hurdles to ages 18 an under where we train nationally ranked athletes. It is in my heart to coach today's youth because it was done for me and I want to be able to give back what was given to me. I am following the footsteps of my mentors, Coach Larry Moore and Coach Curtis Wells Sr., by reaching out to today's youth trying to put them in the best position possible to have a better future.
First Aid/CPR certified.
Coach Thomas attended Renton High School where he set records in the 100m, 300H, 4x100 and the 4x400.

Graduated from Central Washington University where I competed on scholarship in Track & Field.
Initially, the session would start off with an assessment, getting to know the athlete and goals. From there, session planning from specific instruction to a complete macrocycle (depending upon athletes goals) would be set up consisting of warm ups, sprinting technique, proper running mechanics, work out and static stretching with hands on dynamic coaching.
