More About Coach Raymund

I have been coaching and training athletes for 3 years now. My experience is mostly getting their fitness up to par and improving their overall strength and endurance. I also help keep them accountable on their goals and help them achieve the best performance they can on their sport. I typically work with all age groups from 8 and over. All athletes I believe is the best way to help athletes with their goals in their particular sports. The levels I’ve have coached are athletes from elementary to collegiate athletes that are looking to get started on a sport or trying to improve on their sports. I currently have a private gym I work at called West Coast Fitness in Carson, Ca, this gym allows me to issue their facilities to train clients and athletes in any fitness level. My certifications in coaching is acquired from ISSA in personal training. I also earned a bachelor’s degree in Fitness Director option at Cal State Dominguez Hills.

My fitness accomplishments were competing in a body building competition, achieving a trifecta on a Spartan race, participating in a triathlon and a half marathon race. I competed in body building at Venice beach Ca and have done all the Spartan races in Southern California as well. Awards I’ve earned was the accomplishments of the Spartan Race Trifecta and a body building trophy. Also awarded lots of medals participating in other events like a half marathon and triathlons. Before achieving all these fitness endeavors, I have accomplished it though also being mentored and coached by the best people in the area. This allowed myself to improve upon my goals to lose 60lbs and keep the weight off entirely.

What they can expect from me is proper programming specifically in strength and conditioning. For specific sports I can do drills that fits the athlete’s needs to be stronger and faster at their sport. A typical example will be a 5 min dynamic warm-up. For strength I’ll incorporate targeting all muscle groups like lower to upper extremities with periodically tracking their progresses. By tracking their workouts this can help me find ways to improve an athlete’s overall improvements in their fitness. Clients can expect a tailored session focusing on their individual goals and needs. I prioritize a holistic approach, combining strength, conditioning, and technique drills tailored to their sport or fitness objectives. Every session needs begin with a thorough a warm-up to prepare the body for exercise, followed by targeted drills to improve specific skills or movements. I emphasize proper form and technique to optimize performance and prevent injury. Throughout the session, I provide feedback and guidance to ensure clients are progressing effectively. Cool-down and recovery techniques are incorporated to aid in muscle recovery and injury prevention. By addressing both physical and mental aspects, clients leave feeling empowered and motivated to continue their journey towards their fitness goals.
