Had two of my grandsons (10 and 13) in for 10 days during spring break. The oldest plays for a U14 club team in NY. Raiff took them under his wing for 5 sessions which they thoroughly enjoyed. Sometimes you just meet a person and the vibes they give off let you know your child will be in great hands - that definitely sums up our first session with Coach Raiff! My daughter was a little hesitant at first but after about 5 minutes into the session... it was like they had been training together for months! Coach Raiff was great with her and even with things she needed to improve on he explained it to her or showed it to her in a way that didn’t make her feel like he was beating down on her. She’s excited to continue sessions with Coach Raiff and I’m excited to see the growth as she becomes a more skilled athlete/player! We’ve worked with personal 1:1 coaches who we could tell were in it just for the money... Coach Raiff genuinely cares about the people/kids he trains and that definitely sets him apart from others. I am planning to find a long term personal coach for my son and I found coach Raiff through CoachUp.
Coach Raiff is an experienced coach with great training observation. My son had his first session with him last Saturday and I like his coach's energetic and training creative technique. One thing that he really impressed and surprised me is that he offered to come out to observe my son play in his tournament this upcoming Sunday. I really appreciated that because it show that he is willing to go out there to observe my son play and find his weakness and strength to help my son improve his soccer skill. For sure we are going to have long term coach from him.
