My experience includes coaching youth recreational teams during the summers, asst. coaching off-season swim clinics for youth to build and maintain their strokes. I've also worked with competitive swimmers one-on-one to focus on issues they're having with their strokes, or plateaus that they're reaching in areas of their competition goals that they want help breaking through. I am a certified water safety instructor, lifeguard trainer, and I'm certified in CPR/first aid.

I competed recreationally and in high school, as well as have practiced with masters teams, never competing but developing to the level of competion over the years. I also coached a JV team to victory in 2006. WSI + Lifeguard Trainer certified.

Sessions are broken into 4 parts: warm-up (minimum of 500 yds/meters), skill build (drills) conditioning (interval training, sprints, distant swims, etc.), and cool-down - all while maintaining breath control, and keeping the importance of coordination and stroke improvement in mind.
