More About Coach Payton
I have been training athletes in pitching for the past two years. Most of that time was spent in Mississippi where I also coached for a high school baseball team and a summer 15u showcase team. I train athletes anywhere from the ages 9-high school.
I played two years at a junior college in Mississippi (Jones College) and then two more years at Alabama State University (NCAA D1). I also played a year of professional baseball in the Pioneer Baseball League (Independent League). In my college career I was 2x 2nd Team All SWAC and a 1x MBP HBCU All Star.
Right now, I am offering two options, a 30 minute session ($35) and 60 minute ($60). The 30 minute session will consist of a warmup, drills, and a short catch play with the focus being on refining throwing mechanics. The 60 minute session will be same format as the 30 minute session with the addition of a bullpen and with the added time, this will allow us to be more detailed throughout the lesson.
