Coaching Philosophy:
As a soccer coach I am always looking for new ways to more effectively teach all aspects of this great game. I enjoy teaching foot-skills and good fundamental technique, while having fun. Every practice should include some fun in addition to competitive games, where the player learns good soccer technique and develops good habits while simply playing. I emphasize composure on the ball and good first touch as important characteristics of talented soccer players which take time and patience to cultivate. Players have to be able to learn to play the game under pressure, but if players are put under too much pressure from an early age, they do not develop good technique and never realize their full potential as soccer players.

I believe that player development is much more important than winning at young ages. It is also important for a team to find the right level to play in order for a good team spirit to develop. Players should believe their team can be competitive in every game. It is usually more fun to win than lose, but playing a close game and losing, where every player played well and gained valuable playing experience, should be celebrated. I try to stay humble as a coach because the players are more important than me. I aim to maintain an atmosphere where the kids are relaxed to play and do not fear the consequences of making mistakes. Everyone makes mistakes and I emphasize that all you can do is learn from those mistakes and aim to get a little better every time. Additionally, I work to create a positive atmosphere in every practice and game so life lessons and core values are learned.

Playing Experience:
2013 to 2015 Golden Gate University Premier Team @ SFSFL League
2012 to 2013 Gym's Club Premier Team @ SFSFL Champion’s of the 2011 season
2009 to 2011 Olympic Club Men's Soccer Premier Team @ SFSFL / 2010 Region IV Open Amateur Champion

I specialize in developing great technical players. I am a skills specialists.
I work with players of all ages (from 6- adult) on ALL parts of their game, but we specifically focus on their technical side. First touch, second touch, third touch, aerial control, footwork, passing, shooting, heading, defending and DOMINATING the 1 v 1 and everything is covered in our sessions. You will receive a plan written uniquely for you, including our 'Goal! a Soccer Training Session Guideline will be given to participants.

The fact is, at your teams practices, you are not having enough quality touches to develop as rapidly as you could. This is not the fault of your club or indeed your coach, but with more and more pressure being put on them to win at all costs, less time is being spent on developing players, and more time poaching talent from other clubs!

As a coach I would provide you with the tools to excel at soccer, no matter what level you currently play at. Developing your skills that commonly performed during participation (e.g. dribbling, passing, creative play).

I encourage strong intrinsic motivation for the love of the game and a desire to experiment with skills and tricks, has always been the basic developer of the world’s most talent players. My Private Soccer Session Outline Plan Include:
Ball Control
Dribbling, turns & moves
Footwork
Receiving & Control

I started with Coach Paul when I was 7 years old and since then they have taught me everything I know about soccer. One of the most important things is that, from the beginning, Coach Paul stress the importance of practice and improvement instead of immediate results in games or tournaments. This has been important to my development because it has allowed me to work on technical aspects of soccer that are crucial to a player that wants to go to a higher level. When it comes to the skills Coach Paul have taught me, Coach Paul haven't just said what to do but have shown me how to actually do it, and Coach Paul correct me until I get it right. Amanda De Boer
