More About Coach Patrick
I spent one year as the Graduate Assistant Coach for the Bryant University Division I baseball program before transitioning into a full-time role as a Hitting Specialist and Director of Hitting at a baseball development facility in Massachusetts. I currently work with athletes ranging from 8–18 years old, providing roughly 25 hours of private instruction each week while also running hitter evaluations, movement assessments, and individualized development plans. My coaching focuses on swing efficiency, bat speed development, movement patterns, approach, and building confidence in athletes both mechanically and mentally.
I was a four-year Division I starter, competing at Seton Hall University for three seasons before transferring to Bryant University for my senior year. Throughout my collegiate career, I earned multiple athletic and academic honors, including Preseason All-Big East, Big East All-Tournament Team, Perfect Game MLB Draft Prospect recognition, Rawlings All-Regional honors, and Second Team All-America East. Competing at the Division I level gave me firsthand experience with advanced player development, high-level competition, and what it takes to succeed both physically and mentally in baseball.
A typical session starts with movement prep and an evaluation of the athlete’s swing patterns, posture, sequencing, and approach. From there, we build the session around the athlete’s individual needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all style of coaching. Sessions often include drill work, video analysis, bat speed and swing efficiency training, approach development, and game-like execution. I focus heavily on helping athletes understand why adjustments are being made so they can build confidence, consistency, and transferable results into games. Every athlete leaves with clear feedback and developmental goals moving forward.
