Patrick Baker

Currently the Pitching Coach at Bishop O'Connell High School, Previously: Lead Pitching Instructor at Virginia Baseball Club (VBC), Assistant Baseball Coach at Centreville High School, Pitching Coordinator for the Mid-Atlantic Dirtbags, and Associate Scout for the KC Royals.

Pat was a Pre-Season Collegiate Baseball High School All-American and First-Team All-District at Potomac High School (Dumfries, VA). He attended Montgomery College where he was First-Team All-Region (led the team with 10 wins as a pitcher). He received a baseball scholarship to attend the University of Maryland where he was First-Team All-Met College team as a
pitcher, leading the team in wins as a junior with 8, (record holder for most wins in a single season). Pat has over twenty years of coaching high school, youth league, travel, and collegiate summer league teams, as well as extensive experience providing private and small group instruction. Pat has helped numerous players achieve their goals of competing at both the collegiate and professional levels. He is currently the Pitching Coach at Bishop O’Connell High School in Arlington, VA.

Conduct a comprehensive, initial skills assessment, identify goals for improvement, and outline objectives to meet personal goals in a feasible plan that requires full collaboration from the player and/or parent.
