More About Coach Octavia
I have over 10 years experience in fitness coaching, degree in exercise science with an emphasis in kinesiotherapy. I'm also a certified personal trainer with the American College of Sorts Medicine (ACSM) and certified fitness nutrition specialist with the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA). I've worked both in the gym and rehabilitation setting and enjoy working with both types of clients. I currently run my own private personal training company. I will give you the professional experience you deserve and personal experience you need to achieve your fitness goals in the time that you have and budget you set.
I did not compete at the collegiate level nor am I an elite athlete. I am a lifetime fitness enthusiast who's made a career of helping others out of my passion!
Clients receive a tailored workout experience. All clients are required to provide health history & goal information prior to a first session so that a tailored workout can be created. It goes like this: Client submits electronic health history/goals questionnaires -> I review & design a program to meet current fitness level & goals ->Consult time: Client & I meet to review my plan & expectations ->1st workout begins...I lead client through workout, review performance & make any necessary adjustments to the plan-> Client receives feedback & homework to be completed before next scheduled session, session ends with Q&A ->2nd workout begins...with same format : )
