More About Coach Noah
I've worked as a basketball trainer for Western Reserve Academy in Hudson OH in addition to coaching privately in Middletown Connecticut. I've been coaching basketball for 3 years now- mostly younger players under the age of 15. Clients have shown big progress in just a few sessions. I like to keep things fun on the court while emphasizing correct fundamentals. Good form is always more important than making the shot!
I played 12 years of basketball through high school varsity and went to Wesleyan University to play basketball until I was diagnosed with a knee condition. I might not be able to sprint at full speed anymore, but my love of the game and need to make those around me better is what makes coaching so rewarding for me!
A typical session that I coach consists of a short stretch/warm-up, and then a series of 7-8 short drills, all focused around emulating real-game situations and building basic fundamentals. Drills vary based on ability, age, and strengths/weaknesses. The session will be purposeful and goal-oriented, but the last 10 minutes are always something fun!
