More About Coach Nicolas

I have played soccer for my entire life, culminating in playing at the collegiate and semi-pro level. I was recruited to play at schools in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa and Illinois. I chose to play for the University of Minnesota.

I have coached for 7 years. The players I have mentored range from age 9 to 18 years old. I currently hold the United States Soccer Federation 'D' License. At present, I am the Boy's Academy Director at Park Valley United soccer club.

Competed for the University of Minnesota and multiple semi-pro teams. I've been captain on many of the teams I've been on. My team and I set numerous records for the Byron High School varsity program when I was in high school.

We will, together, first evaluate verbally what and where the client would most like to improve. Let's discuss your goals and how you foresee the growth process taking place.

I then visually asses the player and discern strengths and weaknesses. From here, I will know exactly where to begin our training plan as it pertains to soccer skills, such as shooting, dribbling, juggling and mental capabilities.

Coach Nicholas has been doing a great job with my daughter. She has improved her technique, and always enjoys her training session with him. Nic brings a lot of energy and enthusiasm to each and every session.

Coach Nicolas takes the time to get to know the student and works hard to create a good relationship were teaching through encouragement helps the lesson sink in. We've had one lesson so far and can't wait for the next.

Coach Nick has been working with my 6-year-old son, Alec, for 4-5 months now. I could not be happier. He keeps Alec laughing and engaged through every session, and the changes in Alec's performance have reflected it 10-fold. I could not recommend him more. He's incredibly skilled at not only teaching fundamentals, but instilling a love of the sport that is sure to stay with Alec indefinitely.
