More About Coach Nicholas
I teach martial arts on a regular basis as a full time job. Specifically, I teach Tae Kwon Do, Brazillian Jiujitsu, and Ninjutsu. I can also teach Krav Maga, Sambo, Hapkido, MMA. As well as various weapon disciplines including bo-staff, knife fighting, iaido (japanese sword art), haedong kumdo (korean sword art), rope dart/kusari gama, kama (sickles), and nunchuku. Any weapon classes require that you have your own practice weapon.
I'm a third degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and I've won multiple gold medals in in-school tournaments for form, breaking, and weapon. The following are martial arts which I've practiced, and am profficient in.
Aikido
Hapkido
Brazilian Jiujitsu
Judo
Muay Thai
Krav Maga
Sambo
Iaido
Haedong Kumdo
Tae Kwon Do
Ninjutsu
Escrima
Various Weapon Arts
My typical class begins with about 10 minutes warm-up including stretching, light cardio, and a brief overview of the day's lessons. Depending on the martial art which I'm coaching I may spend more time on striking techniques, or more time on ground techniques. However on a general class I'll spend 20 minutes each, on striking practice, including various drills specialized towards my client's discipline if they have one in mind. I'll also spend 20 minutes on grappling or ground techniques. Geared again towards my client's preferred discipline. If the client does not have a preferred discipline, than I'll do an overall session, to give them a feel for a small sampling of martial arts based on their body type and what martial arts I feel in my professional opinion would benefit them the most. The last 10 minutes of every class will be dedicated to cool-down, including stretching and a brief review of the day's lesson.
Classes can be customized by the client according to their preferred martial art, and schedule.

Marko Bojkovic (Testimonial)
Nicholas Hensley is easily one of the best martial arts instructors I've ever had, and he is certainly one of the best martial artists in the world (to me at least). He is heavily focused on even the smallest details, which can make a big difference. He is going to make you a champion. Take him!! You won't regret it.
Zvjezdan Veselinovic (Testimonial)
Testimonial from Zvjezdan Veselinovic: Nicholas Hensley is a good Martial Arts Instructor. He knows exactly what he is doing. When he observes me when we train, he gives me helpful pointers in which benefit me and my technique. He is very open minded to all suggestions and implements my question to his answer. He also demonstrates 2 - 3 different ways that I can achieve my goal. I definitely recommend him for Tae Kwon Do and Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu.
