More About Coach Nicholas

I have over 10+ years of coaching experience. Ever since I could remember I wanted to coach and would even help athletes on my team as a senior in high school. I have coached all levels from youth to collegiate in NYS. I have coached at the state and city college level including Brockport, and Hunter. When I lived upstate for graduate school, I helped at every level. By teaching the kiddos I learned how to break down advanced technique in simple ways. I am licensed NYS Teacher who holds a professional certificate including up-to-date with CPR/AED/First Aid.

I competed at the collegiate level at SUNY Brockport located in Upstate, New York. While I was there I was recognized for my academic integrity, and contributions to not only the team, but the entire athletic department as a staff member. I was on highly recognized and national level teams with high level participants. Multiple workout partners were academic and athletic all-americans. At the high school level, I had amassed all-american honors, 100 plus career wins, and state and local recognition. In addition, I have competed in adult BJJ tournaments which combine wrestling and submission grappling skills. In order to stay sharp, and relatable I still enjoy competing to lead by example for my athletes.
