Played Highschool Basketball at the Varsity level at Skyline High School. Dominated the AAU scene having games with 11, 7 or 6 made threes numerous times. Played my first Collegiate Basketball season during the 2020-2021 season for The College of Wooster, a TOP 10 NCAA Division III Program. Played the 2022 for Pacific Lutheran University, Division III, and was a National College Athlete Honor Society member. Currently playing for NAIA Walla Walla University. Medically redshirted the 2023-2024 season due to hip surgery; currently preparing for a large role next season. Throughout my time in Highschool and College, I trained about 3 hours a day on shooting the basketball, not including team practices and weight room work. The large number of shots I put up help me teach shooting and see things most people cannot see when it comes to that aspect of the game.
• As a collegiate basketball guard I specialize in teaching:
o Shooting mechanics/techniques

o Decision Making in Pressure Situations
o Mental Approach to the Game
• A general outline of a training session with me (1 hour long):
o Dynamic warmup and stretching
o Ball handling routine/warmup
o Form shooting
o Finishing around the rim in a variety of ways
o Stationary shooting
o Off the dribble and on the move shooting
o Decision-making in game situations
o Defensive footwork
o Free-throws and pressure shooting
• As this is a private training environment, the session would be structured according to the player’s wishes, weaknesses, skill level, and age.
• The first session would be an evaluation session. If a player wishes to continue training past the first session, I will have a sit-down conversation with them designing a training program that fits their needs.

My son loved his session with Coach Neri. We love how Coach Neri started with basic fundamentals. He was able to break drills down into simple components and when my son was struggling to understand a move, Coach Neri stopped and retaught the skill. My son learned SO much.

Very knowledgeable! He does not conform to sloppy habits of today's basketball techniques (in part, the school of YouTube). Coach stciks to proven fundamentals which were somewhat awkward for my son at first, but now he can see the improvements in his shot. Coach Neri understands the styles of different well known players and their shooting techniques. It works for those high level players but because of their high skill level. My son was a variation of many of those styles and it sabotaged his shot. Coach is doing an excellent job of repairing the damage and filling in the gaps left by other coaches. We travel a long ways for the training. It's all worth it!
