More About Coach Neil
Coach Neil was an all-state guard at Haven High School in Haven, Kansas and received a scholarship to play at McPherson College in McPherson, Kansas. After receiving his degree from McPherson, Coach Neil attended Oklahoma State University and completed his Master’s Degree in Athletic Administration. While at OSU, Coach Neil began his collegiate coaching career and was fortunate to coach six players who went on to play in the NBA. In addition, Coach Neil coached numerous players who played at the community college, NAIA, NCAA Division I & II levels. Below is a brief summary of Coach Neil's coaching career:

I begin each session with a series of strength and conditioning drills to improve the athletes agility, speed, quickness and jumping ability. I then go into a series of dribbling drills that incorporate the use of tennis balls, weighted hand balls, cones drills and full court drills. Dribbling drills are followed by passing drills which included both stationary and full court drills. Following passing drills I move into footwork and rebounding drills. Those drills are followed up by a number of shooting drills including form shooting, shooting off the catch, shooting off the dribble, 3 point shooting and shooting coming off of screens. Sessions usually conclude with finishing drills against a blocking pad, conditioning drills and free throws.
