Client Reviews

We had our first session with coach Neal this week. My son is six years old and he responded great to coach Neal, he's great with kids. Within five minutes of our first session I could already see a change in form of my sons throwing and through the session my son's ball fear starting to go away. I would definitely recommend Coach Neal to give your athlete that extra push and fundamentals.

My son is a 14 year old left handed pitcher. We recently had our first session with Neal and we were both pleased. My son has been pitching for years and has developed into a pretty good pitcher. He's looking for ways to improve his game and in one session Neal was able to work with him on some minor things that brought immediate results. We're looking forward to continuing to work with him as I know he'll continue to improve my sons game.

Neal is great instructor. He saw and identified the problems in my mechanics and was able to correct them. I would recommend Neal to anyone of any age.

My 6 yo son has now completed 4 sessions with Coach Neal with learning the basics of catching and throwing the baseball. Coach Neal has been able to get my son over the hump of frustration of not catching the baseball consistently. He has also resolved the problem of my son throwing the ball inaccurately. My son would "flick" his wrist instead of throwing it over the top. The "flicking" is at a minimum and the balls are being thrown at the other players chest. Before starting the lessons with Coach Neal, my son would side step or move his body backwards when a ball was thrown to him. My son now keeps his feet planted and stays in front of the ball. The best experience from these lessons is that my son caught a fly ball during his last baseball game. Coach Neal is extremely patient with my son and always squats down, to my son's height, when he talks to him. Coach Neal is professional when he speaks to me or my wife to discuss what we need to work on before the next session. Coach Neal is the first coach we have hired and I am so glad we chose him to help my son. My son and I can now play an enjoyable game of catch in the front yard.

My son has finished the fall sessions with Coach Neal. He completed a total of 10 sessions. Coach Neal's skill of teaching was top notch throughout all the sessions. Coach Neal just did not work on the things we discussed on day one. He made my son a more proficient fielder with working on staying in front of the ground balls. Once we corrected the throwing motion, Coach Neal moved on to building up his arm strength. To keep my son entertained, Coach Neal would make games out of drills which pushed my son to strive to be successful. My son does still need work on accuracy but he is no longer lobbing the ball to his teammates. The ball is being thrown on a line and most of them are at a teammate in the range of their knees to the head. Thanks a bunch Coach Neal for giving my son the ability to throw runners out at 1B.

Neal, Evan really enjoyed working with you and he is really trying to remember all the tips you gave him when he is up to bat. I am really looking forward to meeting up with you in the spring and you working with Evan so you can help make him a baseball star :) thanks for all your hard work!

Neal is a great pitching coach. He relates well to younger players, and teaches some really good mechanics. I highly recommend his training sessions. All around good guy!

Neal Graf is a man of faith, integrity and who loves and has a undeniable passion for the game! I was fortunate enough to have Neal as a coach for numerous seasons throughout my youth and learned so much. If I were looking for a private baseball instructor I'd select Neal, not only for the baseball knowledge, but the strong leadership skills and life lessons that I'm sure he brings every session. Baseball is a game that Neal can more then help with but he is a superior role model for the youth - which will impact them for a lifetime!
Neal Graf was well respected in his hometown of Wauseon, OH and his knowledge of baseball and his ability to work with young athletes in unmatched.
Neal Graf worked with my 10 year old son and helped develop him into a pitcher, not a thrower, with strong mechanics and a desire to get better. I would strongly recommend Neal to anyone looking to improve upon their baseball skills or start from scratch.
