Fitness and Wellness are my life. I educate my clients on how to effectively implement various self-care techniques to make fitness and wellness a part of their lifestyle. I specialize in building customized Holistic Wellness/Fitness/Yoga programs that can improve physical, emotional and psychological well-being, ensuring optimal health.
Over the past 6 years I have worked with renowned private clubs such as The New York Athletic Club, which represents top US athletes, including 119 Olympic Gold medalists in various sports disciplines. I have also collaborated with the City of Sunny Isles Beach and the Hilton Hotel in Downtown Miami in designing and implementing their Yoga & Wellness Programs.
In 2012, I have received the honorary title of Yoga Ambassador for Peace to the United Nations for my Yoga & meditation classes at the UN Headquarters to promote Peace through mindfulness.
I hold certification as a Krama Vinyasa Yoga Instructor and I teach various styles of Yoga, including Power Yoga, Hatha, Vinyasa Flow, Hot yoga, Restorative Yoga, Ashtanga and Yogilates (Yoga + Pilates).
I am also a graduate of the renowned Urban Zen Integrative Therapy program and I use ancient healing modalities such as Reiki energy healing, essential oils aromatherapy, mediation and mindful movement to help promote healing from injuries and trauma on all levels.
I work with private individuals and groups. Adults preferred.
I have trained with some of the most renowned teachers of our time, learning various styles of Yoga, Qi Gong and elements of Buddhist GungFu. I have collaborated with the United Nations to promote peace through mindfulness, meditation and Yoga. I received the title of Yoga Ambassador for Peace to the United Nations in 2012.
Sessions differ based on individual client needs. A brief interview is always conducted to assess the needs and medical history of each client. Sessions always begin with breathwork techniques and assisted stretching moving energy down from the head to the feet, helping center and clear the mind, as well as blockages in the body. Depending on capabilities and limitations of the client, sequencing of poses is done in such a way that the body warms up quickly, detoxing through breath-synched movement. Various postures are introduced with brief resting periods to help tone, lengthen and strengthen the body. Depending on the client, intensity of postural movement is adjusted accordingly. The class is usually 1 hr in duration and, if requested by the client, will includes a 5 minute final relaxation with guided meditation.
