Ball handling, agility, cardio, shooting, strength& conditioning, lateral quickness, vertical jump training.
Coaching for me is all about player progression. I key in on the fundamentals of the game before we go into advanced training for my clients. Evaluating there conditioning level, and skill level will be essential for me to see where the player is currently and the potential they have.
Stretching ( keys to prevent injuries)
Sprints ( up and down to warm the body up)
Ball handling. Left hand, right hand. Alternate dribble, crossovers, behind the back, spin move incorporated with layups.
Shooting the ball is very important in today’s game but the art of the fundamentals and the mechanics to shooting correctly has slowly lost its art. ( form shooting, spot up jumpers, running elbow to elbow, off the screen shot, pick and pop, pick and roll)
The position of the player gives me a glimpse of game simulations or drills that I would put my clients though.
My primary focus in training my clients is safety first. I believe I’m a coach that can relate to a client I may have based off of the experiences I have had during college and playing professionally. The ability to demonstrate the drills and push my player to being the best player he/she can be is my #1 goal.

Great coach. Highly recommended.
Marlan (CoachUp client)
Coach Nadir is an amazing coach who pays attention to detail and won’t teach you anything that you won’t use in game. He’s played at every level and has a high basketball IQ.
Tagbo (CoachUp client)
Coach Nadir is an excellent coach. In the first two sessions with my son, he has been helping him work on his pace for ball handling, shooting arc and building up his confidence. My son says that he’s been enjoying them and expects to continue to improve his skills.
Joseph (CoachUp client)
We just had our first session with Nadir and it went super well. The boys (9 and 11) had fun and learned some great skills. Nadir gets the kids moving and working hard! He is personable, knowledgeable, and gets the kids motivated. Highly recommend and look forward to the next session!
hard work beats talent when talent fails to work hard (Testimonial)
Nadir Is someone who always took the game serious, his transition from Rutgers to playing professional basketball at a very high level has been no surprise and credit it to his work ethic and passion for the game - Joe Loughran ( Rutgers Men’s Basketball coach) Nadir is someone who can be trusted to get the best out of an athlete. From bouncing back to injuries, college athletes, transferring school, coaching, and playing pro. His ability to to talk and motivate and train players from different walk of life is special -David Lunsford ( Teammate Rutgers Basketball) Nadir has been amazing coaching the young Danish team, quite impressive for a young man but he led our team to a Danish championship for the u21 men’s. Such a great coach
