More About Coach Mitch
Coach Mitch has been running private sessions for about 5 years, developing both goalkeepers and field players! I have a C license in coaching as well as my goalkeeper credential. I work with kids anywhere from 5 years old to the college level.
Portland Timbers U-18 academy. Played Division I College soccer at Oregon State & Division II at Sonoma State. Earned all conference and all regional honors in college. Played with Orange County SC in USL
The goal of each session is to develop skills specifically designed for that player’s position. Coach Mitch specializes in goalkeeper sessions but has also had years of experience training field players! GK sessions begin with basic footwork, catching & diving techniques; gradually progressing to in game situations. Field player sessions begin with basic dribbling, passing & defending techniques; gradually advancing to position specific drills. Cones, small goals and speed ladders are used during trainings to develop agility, explosiveness and accuracy. The goal of each session is up have loads of fun and to leave each player with a renewed sense of confidence!
