More About Coach Mitchell

Over 20 years of experience. I have coached all levels of baseball(Little League-Pro level)Palisades High School, L.A. Mission College, UCLA, and with the Kansas City Royals.

I have coached a girls club/travel softball team for 15 years in the Los Angeles area.

Played college baseball, Division 1 at the University of Arizona as a starting pitcher and outfielder - unfortunately, I was plagued by an injury, but continued playing collegiate level baseball. Growing up in the L.A. Area I played much volleyball on the beach and indoors. During this time, I began teaching and coaching high school football and baseball teams.

My mission is to hone in on each player's skill level, Provide a platform which each player to gain a better understanding of the game and improve the players fundamental skills. I concentrate on creating a safe, positive, and proactive learning environment with drills, skills and game situations.

Client Reviews

Mitch, I would like to take this opportunity to express my extreme appreciation and gratitude to you and your organization for an outstanding baseball training day. District 25 received an overwhelmingly positive response on our annual training clinic. I contribute a huge portion of the success of the clinic to you! Little League demands that the safety be a priority. This safety requirement created a need to train our volunteers with the proper techniques the game of baseball to all the children in District 25. Your staff helped facilitate the transfer of knowledge and skills in the game of baseball. I thought the rotating stations were a perfect method of teaching. The coaches left exited and were eager to implement what you taught them. Thank you so much for your participation in our first annual safety event. I'd be happy to give a recommendation to any future clients. I look forward to our working together again. Sincerely, Safety Officer, California District 25 - Little League
Mitch, I just wanted to thank you for your time helping me with my hitting. Not many people I know have shown me the coaching patience with breaking down hitting and its foundations as you have. I must honestly say that without your instruction I wouldn't understand important concepts of hitting and I know I wouldn't have had the success that I did during my minor league season. Thanks again Mitch and I look forward to working with you in the near future.
