More About Coach Mike

I have a bachelors in exercise science from The Ohio State University. Using my scientific knowledge of the human body coupled with being an athlete myself, it really helps bring the most value to the athletes I coach. I have experience training youth athletes from ages 8-18

I have been playing basketball since I was 7 years old. I have competed against top level talent in AAU. My high school team was the state runner-up my senior year. I briefly played basketball at the university of Akron. I also played football in high school and was the starting quarterback. The experience that I have in athletics helps ensure that I bring the most out of the athletes that I coach.

I have one goal in mind: That goal is to make an athlete better in his or her sport with a clear emphasis on developing speed and explosiveness.

Increasing strength and conditioning,
creating the athletes muscular symmetry,
teaching skill and embedding knowledge to develop the athlete into their greatest potential.
​I place a big emphasis on footwork drills and improving coordination, no matter what sports my athletes are playing.
