I attended Indiana State University 1987-1988. I started coaching in 1991 as the head coach of a semi pro team in Indiana, where in 5 years I compiled a record of 56-4. I have coached youth football 1991-98 67 wins and 5 losses. I coached Jr.High Football for 5 years as the head coach of the 7th and 8th grade with a record of 45-5. I was the offensive coordinator at the high school level 2002-2007 Number one offense in the state 3 times, and defensive coordinator at High School Level 2008-2010, number one defense in the state 2009. I was a defensive assistant at the professional arena football level (Northern Kentucky River Monsters) in 2011. I was the head coach at the professional arena football level with the Evansville Rage 2012 with a record of 9-3. I was then the Head Coach of the Owensboro Rage in the CIFL with a record of 7-3. Took over part way through 2014 season as the head coach of the Northern Kentucky River Monsters finishing with a 5-2 record and guided the Rivermonsters to the conference championship game. Career record as a head coach at all levels is 189-22.

I have coached multiple positions at different college camps including Brian Kelly's camp at Cincinnati, Rick Minter's Camp,Terry Hoeppner camp at Miami. I am well versed in all positions in the game of football. I have a great understanding of the spread offense and all option offenses. I also have organized and ran multiple youth football camps. In the past 10 years I have coached over 100 ncaa division 1 players at various positions and 32 that have played in the NFL. I was named as the offensive coordinator for the 2015 HBCU bowl in Panama City Florida.

My son just had a great first session with Coach Mike. He made him feel at ease and was quick to identify problems and show my son how to correct issues he’s been having. My son can’t wait for his next session with Coach Mike !!

First of all I want to say coach Mike is amazing. Within the first 15 minutes of evaluating my son on the field as a receiver he helped my son make improvements on his skills. My son enjoyed Mikes’s style of coaching and communication with things that needed to be work on. Mike for sure knows what he is doing, has a great football IQ and doesn’t waste time. He is a straight shooter, upfront with no bull and that’s what we needed.

Mike did a great job with my 4th grade QB. He assessed him quickly and began with small steps to work toward the right fundamentals. He knows his stuff and does a great job getting his message across to kids in a way they will respond.

Coach was great! He was able to break down our son's strength and weaknesses about 5 minutes into the first session. Our son learned a great deal in his first session. Will definitely be working with Coach Mike again.

Our first session with Coach Mike was great. He was patient with my son and very complimentary when my son did a good job. We will definitely be using Coach Mike as a personal coach for my son a lot more.

Logan is a really tough kid to work with because of self-esteem issues. Mike did a great job picking up on that immediately, he did a great job getting Logan to open up. After we left Logan was excited about scheduling more sessions.

My 10 year old son met with Mike for his first session. Mike and him hit it off. Mike is patient, knowledgable, and a great coach. He has been a wonderful encouragement to my son. He is heading him down a better path in his sport. We will be booking again!
