More About Coach Mike

After finishing my collegiate career playing football (starting all four years), I have been the head offensive and defensive line coach for multiple football camps. Including Mass Elite, FBU, and Framingham Youth Football. I have trained OL/DL teaching skill work for middle school aged athletes up to the elite college level with some elite NFL prospects. Football is my passion and I want to share my knowledge to all that are willing to learn! I guarantee that you will be a better player after just a few sessions!!

With my degree of Exercise Science I create exercise programs for sports performance, weight loss, and for healthy weight gain. I administer pre-training evaluations, mid-progress report, and post-training evaluations. My training varies from each client and is goal-dependent. I have had huge success with increasing multiple athlete's fitness levels. I have a personal clientele base of ages ranging from 9 years old up 60 years old.

I was a four-year starter at Bridgewater State University on the offensive line. I have played three different positions on the line; Left Tackle, Right Tackle, and Left Guard. I earned MASCAC All-Conference as well as Division 3 North All-Star for being an outstanding offensive lineman.

My sessions focus heavily on skill and technique work. The warm ups will involve agility ladder patterns and fundamental technique drills. I find that jogging to warm up is a waste of time. I like getting as many repetitions in of the skill work to create that "muscle memory" connection.

My coaching style is positive and encouraging but very critical and constructive. My clients will gain a whole new sense of knowledge and feel more confident when they leave the session.

My name is Joe Peroni and I am a sophomore at Bryant University. I have been training with Mike Duran for the past three years, and I have never been in better shape in my life. I play Division 1 lacrosse at Bryant University, which requires me to train year-round, and Mike is there to help. Training with Mike over the past few years has been an amazing experience. His knowledge of strength training and injury prevention is clearly noticeable through day to day workouts. With the customized workouts he has come up with for me, I have noticed a huge difference in my explosiveness, strength, flexibility and overall health.
