More About Coach Michelle

Michelle is currently teaching yoga at Beyoga in Dracut, MA. She has been teaching more than 100 yoga classes with both adults and kids. She discovered yoga while searching for relief from back pain from a desk job and a stressful life raising 3 small children. Achieving yoga certification in 2014 has been life changing for her. Michelle believes that yoga can educate the body, mind, & inner spirit. Yoga will maintain focus, toning, flexibility, and rejuvenation of the nervous system.

One of Michelle most accomplished achievement is to become a ceriftied yoga teacher. In her spare time, she volunteers to teach SMA kids how to breathe and meditate properly.
She maintains her daily meditation and listening to inspirational teachers daily for the last 3 years.
Wayne Dyer, Lao Tzu, Eckhart Tolle, Thich Nhat Hanh, and Ester Hicks are her source of inspirations.

Michelle would work with you to find your long and short term goals to achieve a tangible plan that works best for you. Yoga is all about appropriate breathing and mindful poses. General yoga sessions are designed to strengthen the body, connect the soul and quiet the mind by paying close attention to your breath and body.
HOW YOGA POSE BENEFITS YOUR BODY:
INVERSION- helps circulation, rejuvenates the whole body, increases memory, and cures insomnia and depression.
FORWARD/BACKWARD BEND- stimulates digestive organ, relieves constipation, and relieves compression of spine and sciatica. You are as young as your spine.
BODY TWIST- relieves spine and hip, massages abdominal muscle, benefits bladder/spleen/kidneys/liver, balances of the nervous system, and brings peace to mind.
STAND BALANCING POSE - sharpen focus, improves coordination, and reduces tension and fatigue.
RELAXATION/ MEDITATION- (Savasana) 5-10 mins at the end of yoga practice. Many studies have shown meditation helps to ease chronic pain, anxiety, stress, improve heart health, boost mood and immunity, decreases metabolism, lowers blood pressure, improves heart rate, breathing, and brain waves.
Tension and tightness seep from muscles as the body receives a quiet message to relax. It's a great way to recharge your overall body.
