More About Coach Michael
I have over 35 years playing tennis, 5 years formal coaching experience, am a member of the United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA), and a USPTA certified tennis instructor. I teach tennis instruction to clients throughout Montgomery County, MD at their home tennis courts. I typically work with ages 8 yr old to 80 yrs old, primarily with beginner through intermediate level. I coach players for Juniors tournaments and school tennis clubs.
I was a member of the team that won the final at the 2022 WTT Mid-Atlantic Qualifieirs Tournament in Hershey, PA, and the team that went on to become semi-finalists at the 2022 WTT National Tournament in Orlando, FL.
I'm an excellent observer of a tennis student's playing style and skill level and can communicate clearly what is needed to advance the student to the next skill level. I deploy a series of "progressive" drills that fine tunes fundamentals and challenges the student to improve and achieve their goals. At the same time, I keep instruction personal and fun.
