More About Coach Michael

I have been coaching collegiate athletes both men and women for the past 24 years. I have coached everyone from young children as young as 6 to professional men and women. I have worked with middle school and high school student-athletes as well. I have coached All-Americans, professionals, and all-league and all-state high school players. I've worked high profile all-star camps and have helped dozens of student-athletes earn scholarships to NCAA Division I, Division 2, and NAIA schools as well as sending many to the NCAA Division 3 level.

I played two sports in college - basketball and tennis. I have been coaching basketball and tennis for 24 years (basketball for 24 and tennis for 16). I have was voted Most Valuable Player in college as a junior. I was voted most inspirational in junior college as a sophomore and Most Improved Player as a senior. I also played semi-pro ball one summer at Eastern Michigan University with the likes of Chris Webber and many other former NBA players.

Each session depends on the clients goals. Typically we will do agility, cardio, sport specific drills, plyometrics, work on muscular endurance, and flexibility. I use a mixture of aerobic and anaerobic activities and drills for a complete total body workout.
