More About Coach Melissa

I am a 12 year yoga practitioner and have two 200 hour yoga certifications from CorePower Yoga. I specialize in power vinyasa flow, bikram style hot yoga and restorative yoga. My BA in dance helps guide the way I teach. I use detailed alignment cues and focus specifically on breath and mind body connection. My goal is to have each student walk away from their practice with a more clear open mind and to be fully decompressed physically and emotionally.

I have a BA in dance from Point Park Conservatory with extensive knowledge of anatomy and kinesiology. I have received two 200 hour yoga certifications in Hot Power Fusion and Power Vinyasa Flow from Core Power Yoga. I am also a 12 year yoga practitioner so I've been through it all in mind and body.

Each session is one hour in length. The flow and pace of the session will be geared to your specific physical needs. We start with a 5 minute deep breath focus and a gentle warm up to connect your breath with your movement. 45 minutes are spent strengthening, lengthening and toning your muscle structure with a juicy 10 minute cool down.
