2003-2019 Amatuer Baseball Development: I started coaching at 17 with one of the best travel ball organizations in Southern California, ABD. During this time I ran multiple practices a week with the youth group while also coaching games on the weekends. From 2010 - 2019, I coordinated multiple teams at the youth and high school levels. I've taken teams out of the country to play in Puerto Rico and Mexico, as well as all around the USA.

2003-2024 Private hitting / pitching instructor: For the past 20 years I have worked with players from the ages of 5-25. I have the knowledge to break down mechanics for athletes at the college and professional levels, while also being able to effectively communicate with players as young as 5. I understand that each player is different and with my extensive coaching background at all age levels, I am able to get the most out of each individual.

2003 All League catcher for Arrowhead Christian Academy. 2nd team all county for San Bernardino County.

2004-2006: NorthEastern Oklahoma A&M. I led the team in pitching appearances in 2005 and 2006, and led the team in ERA my freshman year. I won the deciding game to send NEO to its first JC College World Series appearance.

2006-2007: Hawaii Pacific University

I evaluate each player and asses their strengths and weaknesses. From there, I make small adjustments according to what would help the player create a solid foundation from which to build. Examples include, grip and balance adjustments, hand placement, etc.

As the lesson progresses, I provide all the feedback necessary to help the player identify the feel of each element of their swing, good and bad. I do this by showing them video analysis of their mechanics, highliting the important aspects we are working on that particular day. I also demonstrate the proper movements myself in order to give them an idea on how each movement should look.

After the lesson, I give each player homework in the form of physical and mental drills. The understanding should be that the work each player does on their own is what will make them reach their potential. I'm just a guide that will hopefully provide valuable information while also holding them accountable while they develop their own work ethic.

I also provide email feedback to the parents informing them on the areas covered, strengths and weaknesses, and what to look for to help the player make adjustments in between lessons. Parents play a vital role in their child's success, so it is very important that they remain up to date on all the information that me and the player cover.
